Whole House
Most of our projects involve multiple spaces within a home where the goal is to create a truly exceptional and integrated livingspace.
We provide tailored solutions in every room and work closely with the architect to refine the integration of our product in those areas.
Here our 10 seater oak and vintage brass table design fits seamlessly with the design aesthetic of the space.
Integrated and functional
Craft and functionality come together throughout the home combining to create truly exceptional living spaces
Materials add aesthetic refinement and durability
In the bathroom materials and surfaces combine to create spaces that are refined as well as durable.
Technology and design perfectly integrated
Storage units become sources of light with cleverly hidden storage built in.
Materials and refinement
We work closely with the architect not only refining the aesthetics of the space but combining a strong commitment to craft, functionality and durability.
Wardrobes and built in closets
Our designer will work with you to design a solution that works for your specific situation. Here the storage is concealed with a large space in front for dressing and moving about.
Optimised for dressing
Walk-in wardrobes maximize hanging and drawer storage and are optimized for dressing with movable trays to store clothes and fully integrated lighting.
Shoji screens
Enhance the sense of light and space
Our aesthetic sense is often inspired by Japanese design traditions and many of our clients incorporate this into their living spaces. Here the screen invites tranquility and light into the space while creating a practical divider.
Towards a new design aesthetic
It’s fun to experiment and to push the boundaries of the traditional Japanese design aesthetic.
We strive for a product where the unseen facets are as beautiful and finely crafted as the the visible surfaces.
With every piece we build our craftsman focus on precision and integrity. This means that any piece should perfectly mirror the design in aesthetic and dimensions. It also means that what you see is what you get, no facades or hidden defects. With this in mind every piece we create is informed by our 7 tenets of design.
Time honored joinery techniques
We build every piece with a view to longevity and wherever possible favour a handcrafted approach to joinery.
The integrity of materials
We have a deep appreciation of the integrity of materials, the balance of wood with marble, the durability and sensuality of a solid wood drawer. This appreciation is evident throughout every aspect in the manufacturing and design process.
Simplicity of design.
What more could be taken away?
Raw Oak wall panels, clever phone chargers and reading lamps hidden into the edges of the wall panels, Noguchi hanging lamps, and a really comfortable bed.
The gentle and respectful merging of nature’s beauty with man’s imagination
Many of our projects require the design of unique wine cellars within the home – here the main storage area is made from solid ceder, while the lighting lends the previously dark room a soft magnetism. The mild steel decorative pins are scattered above a natural granite boulder.
